Safety Training

Surge Temps, Inc. requires all of its employees to attend safety training classes before going to work, because most accidents occur within the first few days of work. Many employers provide safety training for specific jobs. We also work with employers to make sure Surge Temp, employees are trained properly for the task they will perform.

Safety programs are on going. Employees are informed of future training sessions that will pertain to them. A safe working environment translates into lower workers compensation rates.

Safety Training

• All Surge employees take part in safety training
• Training is geared toward the type of work they will perform
• Employees receive training whether they're performing clerical or heavy lifting tasks
• General safety training includes but is not limited to the following:
  • Manual Material Handling
  • Personal Protective equipment
  • Hazard Communications
  • Tool safety
  • Slips trips and falls
  • Back injury prevention
  • Hazard awareness training
