Safety Training

Surge Resources, Inc.'s Safety Division utilizes risk management techniques to minimize adverse effects of employee accidental losses that can interfere with your organization's overall objectives. The first duty of business is to survive, and our mission is to provide high quality, value added, loss control services that are designed to develop alternatives to avoid unnecessary losses to your organization.

Surge Resources, Inc. is one of the few PEO's that utilizes a full time Safety Director. Our Safety Director's credentials include being a certified OSHA General Industry Trainer; a Loss Control Specialist in accident investigation; as well as previously being a licensed workers' compensation adjuster. With this experience, our Safety Director strives to create an environment of safety and trust within your organization. We will assist in identifying potential risks and establish a plan to insure training is accomplished to minimize those risks. We will help develop systems to track safety training, accidents, workers' compensation claims, and other safety activities.

Our Safety Division will perform a JHA (Job Hazard Analysis) at each client's location. This will identify potential hazards and specific training needs of employees assigned to the job. If unsafe conditions or lack of ongoing safety programs are evident during this on-site visit, our Safety Director will consult with our client concerning our requirements to provide a safe, healthy environment for the employees and will assist the client as necessary to bring the client into compliance with State and Federal requirements.

In addition, Surge Resources, Inc. offers a variety of safety training that includes safety courses, workshops, and videos that allow employees to learn the correct safety procedures to be followed on the job site. All of these safety precautions will have a positive affect on our client's workers' compensation and assist the client in maintaining an active and effective loss control program.
